A few years ago, while I was relaxing on a beach in Mexico, I read "Women Who Run with the Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola. I thought at the time that I'd like to paint pictures relating to the myths and stories of the "wild woman" archetype. Several of these paintings are taken directly from these stories and few have been taken from other sources.

Fantasy has always sparked my creativeness, which I hope reflects some aspects of our human nature. So let your imagination run free and join the subjects of my paintings by unleashing your inner wildness.
